Second year Otago Academy Athlete Dyani Shepherd – Oates has had an amazing start to her domestic athletics season, last Saturday (7th November) Dyani competed in her second comp of the season and had an impressive throw of 53.18m in the Women’s Hammer event, this not only improving her previous PB of 50.50m but also smashing the Women’s Under 20 Hammer Otago Record. An outstanding start to her season and we are looking forward to more great results over the next few months.
