First year Academy athlete Annabelle Ring has had great success during her 2019/2020 season, Annabelle’s school basketball team became national champions, and Annabelle was named tournament MVP (most valuable player) and named on the tournament team. At Otago representative level, Annabelle’s team placed 4th at Nationals and she was named on the tournament team. Continuing her success, Annabelle was selected on to the New Zealand’s under 17 Women’s Team. Last year Annabelle was given the opportunity to experience Basketball in the US as she was selected to play for the New Zealand Storm Team that traveled to Las Vegas last July to Compete.
